Prasat Muang Thi

Prasat Muang Thi

Only three of the original 5 brick pagodas remain today of Prasat Muang Thi. The middle pagoda was accessible on each side and represented mount meru, the mythical mountain, which is the center of universe and home to the gods. The site is part of a modern temple called Wat Chom Suthawat.  Over time the structures have been modified and influenced by later styles.
