Prasat Phanom Wan
Where Phimai is big and filled with lots of tourists, this temple is smaller and we like it more because you can basically stroll through it by yourself. Phanom Wan dates back to the 9th to the late 11th Century A.D and was a significant religious site. Inside the main building are some Buddha images, which were installed more recently, but they give it a nice touch of a religious site and not just a tourist attraction.
