Ku Suan Taeng

Towers of Ku Suan Taeng

Ku Suan Taeng is a very quiet sanctuary in Buriram Province. There is not too much tourism here as it is located off the beaten track. Some buffalos were grazing on the compound, which consists of three towers on the same platform, all facing east. Suan Taeng was built at the end of the Angkor Wat period and was built with brick vs. stone. The lintels found here are all kept in museums nowadays to keep them safe.
